Favorite Posts Friday.

Time for another peek at what I've been busy doing while feeding babies.  They're both hitting 6 month growth spurts right now.  So if you're looking for me I'm the one in the corner with the sore nipples and wrist cramps from holding a bottle and nursing simultaneously.  Anyways, between troubleshooting sleep issues, feeding the beasts, and troubleshooting sleep again because of the flippin' time change, I've been doing lots of reading.  I skipped last week, so check out my fave blog posts from the past two weeks!

Hormonal Imbalances - Family Spacing -- I'll admit, this is shaping up to be one of my favorite blogs.  I think it's because our lives seem to be a bit parallel.  In this entry, Diana talks about planning a manageable gap between kids ... and ending up with twins for the second pregnancy.  Sound familiar anyone?

Barefoot Foodie - Slim. -- Just a post that I relate to on many levels.  Sometimes people don't realize how deeply their words can cut another person.  And sometimes they do and they just don't care.  These people are evil asshats.

Hormonal Imbalances - What are you hoping for? -- Every pregnant woman gets asked this question.  Twin mamas are no exception, and perhaps get asked more often.  Diana addresses her feelings about the question and why her answer annoys people.  My answer was the same!

Baby Rabies - The Rundown of A Perpetually Exhausted Procrastinator's Days -- Sometimes I feel like this is how my days go.  Except that I'm on the internet while pumping or feeding babies or snuggling a toddler.

Heir to Blair - Daily walks.  -- Last week I decided to try to get out for more walks with the boys.  The past few weeks we've stuck close to home and had fresh air in snippets because we've been focusing on SLEEP.  But after awhile I feel trapped and stale and in desperate need of more than 20 minutes of sunshine and vitamin D. Beth Anne describes how a walk with the munchkin is such a refreshing start to the day and I could not agree more.

Mama and Baby Love - How to Increase Your Milk Supply -- Stephanie exclusively pumped for her little one and has become an expert on how to make the most of your milk supply.  She gives some awesome tips, some that I haven't heard yet and plan to try!  (And I'm still working on my breastfeeding/pumping/feeding my children post ...)

A Modern Family - Org. Chart -- While I've learned to be a little more "go-with-the-flow" and less of a control freak since having these babies, I still love lists and schedules.  I've just come to realize that it's not always going to get finished or done the way I plan it to.  Lorryn's post makes me feel more normal for being a crazy planner.  Of course I already knew this about her as she's one of my best friends and it's probably part of the reason we relate well to each other!

Mama Laughlin - This is what I know... --   I ADORE this post.  Definitely my very very very favorite in awhile.  She describes me.  The journey I've been through successfully once before and the journey I'm going through again.  Love.It.

The Southern Belle {and her boys} - Transition -- Most mothers of more than one child will tell you that the transition from one baby to two is quite an adjustment.  While I've only experienced going from one to three, I can still imagine that going to two is quite stressful.  You think you've got it all figured out from having your first and your second go-round crashes in humbles the hell out of you.  Jessica writes about her experience making that transition and what a difficult one it is!

Intrepid Murmurings - Thoughts on Parenting Twins -- As Kristin writes in her piece, having twins is a life-changing experience that many people never get to experience.  This piece includes so much great advice that I only wish I'd seen before having the twins!

What the blog? - My time at the pump -- This mama has triplets who are a little over a year old now.  She has pumped and breastfed them from the get go.  What an accomplishment!  It's such a simple post, but with amazing information.

Baby Making -- A few conversations of late -- These conversations remind me of Brian and I, especially in our life before kids.  Silly and crazy.  I miss the days when we did more of this and have made a promise to myself to make more of an effort to get back to it.

** No one asked me to feature their blog.  I'm just passing along my favorites with hopes that you might find something you like too.  And if you find a blog you like, I hope that you'll do like I did and follow their blog, whether by RSS, Friend Connect, or email.  And do the same for mine if you like!

I write for me. 100%. BUT it definitely makes my day when someone tells me that they enjoy reading my blog. Or that they hate it. Whatev.

So don't spare me your words of wisdom, encouragement, or mindless babble. I enjoy it all :)
