The weather has been a bit cooler lately. Cooler, meaning I can go outside and not immediately break out into a sweat. The AC is off and the windows are wide open and we can enjoy the nice breeze blowing through the house. I live for this time of year in FL.
Today we decided to head to the beach, just for a little walk. At first, Brian pulled the brothers in the wagon while I made sure Brennan didn't try to go swim with the fishes.
After a little while, we decided to let the brothers rip and tear through the sand to burn some energy. Neither one was very sure about the whole thing at first, but they eventually warmed up and began to explore a bit.
Our cousin Tara gave Brennan this little outfit for his first birthday, while we preparing to move to FL. I remember her telling me that when she spotted it, she pictured Brennan strolling down the beach in it. I never got a picture of Brennan wearing it on the beach, so when we decided to go today, I took advantage of the fact that Mr Beckett fit into it and snapped a few photos of it. She was right. It's very cute beachwear.
I love this photo. All 4 of my boys. My whole heart. Walking separately, but together. Kiernan forging ahead with Daddy watching closely at his heels. Brennan not far behind Daddy, but always looking for a slightly different path. Beckett bringing up the rear, always a bit cautious and thoughtful. I adore it.
We were only there for about an hour, but it was so much fun. Who knows how long we'll live here, just a quick 10 minute drive from the beach. So while we do, we really need to take advantage of it. One thing is for sure - we're raising a bunch of beach babies. They had to practically be dragged away today!
