Do yourself a favor and don't tell a twin mom that you "pretty much" had twins.

The boys and I took a walk around the block today.

Like most of our walks around the neighborhood, the Brothers started out in the wagon and Brennan started out walking. By the time we got halfway around the block (you know, about 30 minutes later) I had Beckett  on my hip while Brennan lagged behind pulling the wagon and I chased Kiernan down the sidewalk.  Standard.

Comfort food {Four Bean Chili}.

Brian and the guys at work have been REALLY busy lately.  They're all working long hours and not getting home much, so I thought I'd make them a home-cooked meal to eat while working today.  I wanted something that could simmer in the crockpot for a good portion of the day and still taste good ... if not better.

Yeah, that just screams CHILI.

My plan was to use my parents' recipe ... until Brian remembered this morning that his boss has recently gone back to being a vegetarian.  And his girlfriend, who also works at the office occasionally just to spend time with her man, is also a veg.  I love it when he forgets things.

So I went scrounging in my fridge and pantry and came up with a base that could stand alone without the ground beef, so that 2 of my favorite vegetarians could still enjoy something warm and delicious.  And you know what?  It was awesome.  Even the veggie chili was good.  Not as good as the meat kind, but I'm really a carnivore at heart.  So I thought I'd share the deliciousness that was lunch today.

Something. Anything.

My fingers are hovering over the keyboard, itching to type.

Type something.

Type anything.

But my brain is firing too many things, too quickly.

I have so many things I want to write, yet I can't sort them out enough to make sense of any of them.

So where does that leave us?

With a flight of ideas post, friends.  'Cuz everybody loves bullet points ... or at least I do.

Why, yes, our child was about to launch his cup at his Daddy's head.  And we hadn't even pulled out of my in-laws' driveway yet.  Serenity now.

January 2013.

Yes, I realize it's March.

Almost the end of March, to be exact.

But I love to be able to look back at these monthly posts, so I'm still going to write them, even though I should be working on school work.

I totally have my priorities straight.

As I said in the December post, we spent NYE with some friends.  Of course we were up fairly late, and then got up the next morning to head to Tampa.  Our beloved Wolverines played the Gamecocks in the Outback bowl and we bought tickets for ourselves for Christmas.  Our dear friend Roman watched the boys all day long and we couldn't have been more grateful to have a nice day to ourselves.  Unfortunately, Michigan lost.  ::womp womp::

Wordless Wednesday {3.20.2013}.

I think it's time to return to the land of baby-proofed-ness.  My parents' poor house can't take much more twin debauchery.

Instadump.

I miss writing.

I have a million things I want to write about, but I have such a hard time writing when I'm trying to soak up time with my family.

So for now, here are some pics of my sweet babies from before and during our travels...
